We initially looked into chiropractic care because Clark was only pooping once weekly and it was visibly uncomfortable for him. It seemed to start when he was given supplements during his NICU stay. Clark poops regularly with no distress! It only took a couple of sessions to see improvement. We are so happy to see that he additionally has had greatly improved sleep. In general, he is much more relaxed, which is wonderful, especially considering his stressful start to life with a very premature delivery and long NICU stay. His pediatrician has been so impressed with how he has grown and met developmental milestones and avoided any illness thus far. We are confident that the care from Hanson Family Chiropractic plays a significant role in this! From the moment I called to make Clark’s first appointment, I knew Hanson Family Chiropractic was a wonderful place to be. The office is so beautiful and the whole team is so friendly and welcoming. Natasha, Megan and Bethany always make you feel right at home. Dr. Dave is so kind and knowledgeable and so great with Clark! You can tell that everyone is happy and passionate about what they do.

A Game Changer!
Emrie started getting adjusted by both Dr. Daves when she was just a few weeks old! After seeing such success getting our 2 year old daughter adjusted as a baby, we knew this was one of the first stops we’d make if we had another baby! From birth, Emrie seemed restless and had a difficult time falling asleep/staying asleep for any length of time. She also had a difficult time pooping and would wake herself quite often each night grunting and straining to poop. Her body was tense & she definitely had her foot on the “gas pedal” so we knew being adjusted by Dr. Dave was just what she needed!
Emrie is a different baby since we started her with chiropractic care. She’s happy, relaxed, sleeping 6+ hours at night and pooping regularly with little effort!

Irregular Bowel Movements
Millie had started care with concerns torticollis, irregular bowel movements causing discomfort, and problems with reflux. Since coming to Dr Dave, Millie has less spit ups, constipation is a thing of the past, and more motion and control in her neck – which has resulted in Millie enjoying tummy time! As an extra bonus, Millies sleep has been 10X better than before and she is able to handle sickness a lot easier!
Extremely Welcoming
“It was determined that Hannah had a gross motor delay when she was 6 months old. She was late to roll over, bear weight, and is still working on crawling. She began P.T. at 6 months, and her therapist mentioned possible Torticollis as well. Aside from the poor muscle tone and stiff neck, Hannah suffered from bouts of severe constipation and restlessness. She did not sleep more than 4 hours at a time until she was 6 months old.
Recently, Hannah has graduated to solid foods and is much happier. She no longer has GI issues and is able to sleep longer. Her physical therapist has also noticed the muscles in her neck are more relaxed. The entire office is warm, friendly, and understanding.

Calm, Gentle and Caring
When Miles went in for his two month checkup, the pediatrician discovered his soft fontanelle was closed. We were immediately referred to a neurosurgeon and we decided to seek chiropractic care as well. A thermography scan showed major stress points on C1, C2 & C3. The vagus nerve that runs through these vertebra has many functions, but one of them is controlling when the plates in your head close. We had to remove that stress point in his spine or face a more serious situation.
At our halfway scan, the stress points on C1, C2 & C3 were completely gone! His spine is completely stress free – he is less stiff and he’s pooping better too! A happy, unintended side effect :)
Dr. Dave has been amazing at explaining the whole chiropractic process with me. They are calm, gentle and caring with Miles & he loves coming to get adjusted! Happy smiles from him the whole way home.

“We started chiropractic care as a last resort for Rumi when we were not seeing any results from visiting other doctors and specialists. Rumi stopped talking when she turned 3 years old and began to have digestive issues which resulted in chronic constipation for over a year and a half. She was also diagnosed with Autism due to her regression in April of 2018. Due to her constipation, she seemed to always be miserable and uncomfortable.
